Our work

Three ways we show up.
One reason why.

Every engagement starts the same way — we watch how the work actually happens before we say a word about how it should. What comes next depends on what we find.

Operational Excellence

Most organizations don't need a new mission. They need the day-to-day processes that keep the mission aligned with funders' expectations, to function like a well-oiled machine. This is where we build and implement those SOPs: closing out a compliance issue before it becomes a funding issue, retraining a team on the muscle-memory systems nobody officially documented — you know, the ones quietly strangling your data quality and depleting your ratings for funding opportunities.

Community Coordination

Two or three organizations, serving the same person, and nobody's talking to each other. That's where coordination falls completely apart — not only making the case manager's job that much more challenging, but also creating friction and possibly delaying the client's pathway to stability. This is where we build the connective work: long-term partnerships, system-level coordination support (CE/HMIS), the kind of facilitation that gets a room full of busy people actually aligned and motivated.

Visibility & Communications

This is the work most organizations know they need and never get to: a website that actually says what you do, an impact report a funder will believe, the kind of internal reporting that lets your own board see what's really happening. We build it so it holds up after we leave.

Where to start

Not sure where to start?

Begin with a First Signs Snapshot: a few hours with your team, in person or virtual, for a first read on what's strong and what's not. It's the front door into everything below.

I'm Ready!

Early Intervention

If you know a snapshot won't be enough, consider Early Intervention. It's a five-day, single-department deep dive into your systems, processes, and workflows — a mini-audit that gives you a clear picture of what's already working, and what could use a little nurturing.

Days 1–3: In the Field

We're in it with you, in your office or meeting with your team virtually. We spend 1:1 time with staff, observe interactions and workflows from the front desk to the back office, review charts, run reports, and sit inside the day-to-day long enough to see what's real, functional, and sustainable — not just what's on paper.

Day 4

We build the review. We compare your compliance requirements to what's actually being practiced. We align what funders want to invest in — and what the latest NOFOs require — against the data you're actually collecting, and the story it tells. Then we score it: a detailed report card on your org's Capacity, Visibility, and Access, with a suggested path to Resolution.

Day 5

We share our findings with your team, and decide on a way forward together. Not everyone we do this for will decide to partner — or at least not right away. But by the end of Day 5, you'll have fierce clarity about the pathway forward for your team, and what it takes to attract funding and tell your impact story.

No two organizations
carry the same weight.

Therefore, no two engagements are priced the same. Let's talk about your needs and we'll go from there.
